how to resize the col of grid

hello friend,

I am using gridView of dev-express
when my data load into column of the grid the size of my data is round about of 200 words.
when it load the size of col gte disturbed.it using only standard size.

and the text shown in multiline.
the grid design totaly disturbed due to it.

i want to resize the col of my grid.that my grid design not get disturbed.

how can i use this,where i need to write code

i need the help.
the given links are not much more help full for me.

dear i m getting data from database.
but the cell result text is too long.
due to that the grid cell design get disturbed.it get 6 rows to show data.i want to show just in one line..

This is a link to what he thought would be an answer to what he interpretted your poorly worded convoluted non-question to be. If you do not like the answers you get, then ask better questions. you first need to calculate the column size and then you could easily adjust number of rows in a particluar grid.
