Hi all

I am a B.Tech in non computer science branch from India. I completed my B.Tech in 2011, and am now working in a software company for the last 3 months.

Can anybody provides the eligibility criteria for MCTS certification, and the details of the exam, like
1. When one can enroll for the exam.
2. How much minimum time is required for the preparation of the exam.
3. Which is the best way to prepare for the exam, like self study or coaching
4. Which book should i refer.

And please give me some website where i can know about this certifications.

For ASP.NET I would encourage you to take a look at MCSD: Web Applications Certification, after that maybe even MCSA certification.
I feel that these are more essential to this area.

Regarding the minimum time, if you have experience in this area then it should not take long, cca. a month for all three exams.

Regarding the best way, well there is no best way... it depends mostly on what type of learning style you respond the best. Is it a auditory stimulation, visual demonstration, or something else?
Nevertheless if interested you can find here some HTML, CSS and JS programming tests and here C# coding tests for preparation. You can actually find a lot more programming tests on TestDome.

To learn the basics of the MCTS certification read the information on the Microsoft site[^]. Be sure to read their FAQ.
There are study books avialable like this one[^].
If you already know the material fairly well then 2 or three weeks of study is enough to prepare for the exam. You will have to find some place in your area that offers the exam when you are ready to take it.
