Bulk SMS sending solution required

Hi,
I am C# programmer. i have a client who has asked me make a server that can 100,000 SMS per 5 - 10 mins.

So, i am asking you guys could you give me a suggestion that how should do it?

1) Either find and online web site that provide me this service?

2) Make my own SMS server using GSM modems and computer servers?

or any other better approach that i can use?

Solution 1

Go for option 1.
The Mobile providers will have a good product that you can buy to use as a service.

I you go for option 2, with a GSM modem, you will need hundred of GSM modems to be able to sent 100.000 SMS per 5 - 10 min.
Sending 1 SMS with a GSM modem takes around 2 sec. pr SMS.

Probably. It depends on the Mobile provider.
Some providers has a Web interface, others have a special interface.

i have check it. they are giving 1.60 per SMS.

I have checked other websits they charge 0.455 per sms.

Hi Hassan, mine is $0.02/SMS for 100,000 SMS. Is still lower than their $0.04 /SMS. They are using Euro and I'm using Singapore dollars. ;-)

Yap, they are local Pakistan company so for SMS to pakistan their rate is definitely good. ;-)
