not display password as charcter in gridview

i am using gridview and there is column of password in which it has varchar datatype in database. i just bind it in gridview but display password column as character and it display like evryone can read.

so, i want that password column not display as varchar when bind the grid.
like textbox mode =password...

so no one can read it when bind the grid..
