Solution 1

This is called a PropertyGrid[^].

In some versions of Visual Studio, you have to go to your Toolbar, investigate the controls that are displayed and you will find that PropertyGrid is checked, while not displayed in the toolbox.

Uncheck it, close the dialogue, open it again, set the checkbox and close the dialogue again. Now the PropertyGrid should be usable.
