Dears, i am a developer and i love to develope a mobile application, first i am good or very good in C# specially web development and little bit of silverlight of windows mobile 7.0 and 7.1 of microsoft products but know i need to start with android and my question is: what is the studio needed to develope an android apps(is it compatible with SQL...) plz supply me with some information to start ...

Hello, Android[^] is an excellent book for starting up Android development, in my opinion.

I like that book.
There will be two development types
1.Native developpment.
2.Hybrid development.
Native Development:
Developed only by android, iphone and black berry and used by particular mobile platform.
Hybrid Development:
Developed by Html,Jquery and CSS3 with phonegap.js. This could be used cross mobile platforms.

1. Android SDK

2. An IDE (Eclips is better)

3. u can develop on Win, Mac or Linux
