Hi,

I am creating a product_order and using a gridview.
can i use a dropdownlist for selection of item and that is display rate of selected item from one table and then insert required quantity and total amount calculated on the basis of rate and required quantity.
here i am using two tables
1. product_detail for select item name and rate
2. order_detail for save all these value.

i am not understand how can i do this plz help me...

Your question is not clear. where do you want to put dropdownlist? Inside gridview?
