Problem of registery in dotnet

Hello friends
i want to Add my software installation path in registery so that i can trace it
through my Update software which i will relese later How can i do this ?

you can create one form in windows application that will add registry value and call that windows application exe file from your setup.

think if user had installed software and now he want to update it without runing my software then this senerio fall, so it can only be done by setup program

setup program can be used to update your program. so you do not need different installer for update. before installation check if registry exist , if it exit then update your software otherwise normal installation.
