hi does any one know how to format text in a label on a form to represent the squared symbol in proper S.I. notation?

I know that this kind of thing can be done in office and I was hoping to be able to do it in visual studio 2008. I am using C# if it makes any difference?

Do you mean writing something like ? You could simply copy the ² character from here and paste it in your source code, or in the Text property of your label using the Designer.

That character is part of the extended ASCII set, if you prefer you could also hold the ALT key and type 253 on the numeric pad (its ASCII code is 253).
