How to open FileUpload by javascript

I'm developing custom file upload control. It includes textbox and image button. I managed to hide fileUpload but now cannot to open fileUpload when to click on my image button. Could you help me to do it? Thanks in advance.

Mozilla,Opera didn't support file upload click event from javascript. better way to follow Ankur \m/ method.
