sql query beautifier

I have to implement a query editor ...A text area is showing the query...I have to write a JavaScript function which will format the query such that whenever it will get a keyword or"," it will go to new line....How to implement it???????

With key events. And probably one or twenty other things. Better get started. Don't ask us to code entire projects for you... go get started first, then come back here when you get stuck on particular things. Do you think it would be reasonable if somebody asked "how do I implement Microsoft Word"? Probably not... so why ask that yourself?

I am not asking for code.....Basically I would be my easiest approach...I have thought whenever I got a keyword replace the innerhtml with that keyword and break...but it is not properly readable....I mean I want to format the string just like sql beautifier
