Why are some tools disable in Visual Studio?

hi every one!

I am using Visual Studio 2010. I also installed Crystal Report for Visual Studio 2010 together.

The problem is that I don't see CrystalReportViewer control in toolbox. (It is already selected in Choose Item).

When I do right-click on toolbox and select "Shwo all", I see CrystalReportViewer in disable mode.

- Could any one tell me why some controls are disable in toolbox?
- And how to enable them?

Solution 1

Change target framework to .NET framework 4
