How to Show the list item based on Current login user

Hello All,

I have list that holds all users data.When user logs in and view the list ,I need to show
only items of a user who logged in currently.Can any one tell me how to do it.

do you have sharepoint list and want to show data for specific user.

Solution 1

On the list, go to advanced settings. You need to set the item level permissions for read access to "Read items that were created by the user" and depending upon your exact requirements, also set Create and Edit access to: "Create items and edit items that were created by the user".

This should have the effect of only showing the user's own list items in the list.

Then give the admin Manage Lists permissions.

It's under List Settings. Google "manage lists permissions SharePoint" and you'll find it.
