You may find that this will not be answered, as the only reason to do this is malicious practices, many others have asked this before and have been shot down rapidly. Google may be your friend here not CP. just the way it is............

Combined with your other question How do I know if there is a computer camera?[^] I find myself wondering exactly what you are trying to do. I can't easily see any legitimate application which uses a PC camera and wants to hide.

I can however see quite a few illegitimate applications, and most of them are extremely repugnant.

As a result, I have down voted your question.

If you can explain to my satisfaction what your app is doing that needs these two in concert, I will reverse this vote, and may even answer it...

If workers are "monitored" they should know, otherwise they are "spied".
