I currently have a CodeProject.AI instance being used for recognition with my Blue Iris surveillance system. However, my server is not very recent, and the CPU is occasionally overloaded, causing the CodeProject service to crash.

Therefore, I am considering dedicating another machine to CodeProject. However, I notice that I cannot access the CodeProject web server at xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:5000, even though the configuration file seems to indicate 'AllowedHosts': '*'.

Should I make any changes to access CodeProject from my LAN?

Thanks!

What I have tried:

Searched config files, tested on multiple devices

Let's try a quick fix first. Please try port 32168, so, xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:32168

Two things that need addressing:

1. 127.0.0.1 is the same as localhost. You need to use the actual IP address of the machine for your local network. If you want to punch outside of your network, then more work is required.

2. You also need to open the port on your host machine so that your firewall is not blocking. How that is done depends on the operating system of your host machine.
