Hello Friends,

I m looking for any open source tool which would do the pattern analysis and would give the result in the form of text...
Its been seeing that most of data analysis tools give graphical result orientation but in our case we wanted to have results in textual format....
Would u plz suggest me any open source tool doing the same....

Thanks in advance,
Amit

This topic is to broad to look for one concrete source code. Also, you're either mixing different concerns -- graph algorithms and presentation (form of text, etc.). Maybe you even think that graph calculations are done with text. No? Then your request rather resembles the order to program something to you, which is hardly an options.

The graph calculations should be completely abstracted from the presentation of results. Then again, your question makes no sense (at least in the format of CodeProject questions-and-answers) unless you describe more concrete problem.

Thanx SA..for your valuable reply.
Actually I m doing analysis of huge data. and i wanted to identify different patterns in it. I wanted to identify trends in bulk of data. so as i said, finally i would desire to have the result in descriptive form(a plain report about the data patterns..)
Will u plz suggest me more in this case...

Thanks,
Amit

O.k. so There are a number of clarifications you should make... first roughly what type of data is it? Molecular orbital simulations are very different from population dynamics and bayesian statistical results...
Also what is the context of your situation, are you part of a university (grad school?) because anyone asking you to do this should be providing you with an analysis framework to work from.

there are many types of patterns you could be looking for, and without narrowing your intent and or scope, or having very large computational power you will not very likely find the "perfect" answer here...
