Is there any source code for monitoring applications network traffic using VB.NET?

Hi,
I'm new to VB.Net and I want to develop a customized application for monitoring traffics of all the apps are using network. I need to have a list of those applications and the UP/DOWN traffic for each of them.
I need a source code for study and then make my own application.
Please guide me.

That's a pretty massive and complex application so who do you think will share the source code with you?

I want to learn how such an app can be made. Whether I need to use library? What kind of library should be used?
My final goal is to make my own customized app. Actually, I want to monitor a specific .exe application, when it establishes a connection.
