But such tag would be needing a complete URL to file. Am I right?
If not, then, May I have an example please?

Thanks for the reply ProgramFOX.
I've already been through it..
I'm able to send data but don't know how to process it on client side.

FINALLY It worked:
SELECT nam,numbr FROM contacts WHERE INSTR(Convert(numbr,UNSIGNED INTEGER),Convert(18130232211,UNSIGNED INTEGER)) OR INSTR(Convert(18130232211,UNSIGNED INTEGER),Convert(numbr,UNSIGNED INTEGER));
Thanks Mate, It was really a great FUN :) :) :D

Hey here's what happened now. I removed Commans and:
select nam,number from contacts wheer INSTR(numbr,813023221)>0 : worked
select nam,number from contacts wheer INSTR(numbr,0813023221)>0 : worked
select nam,number from contacts wheer INSTR(numbr,0000813023221)>0 : worked
BUT
select nam,number from contacts wheer INSTR(numbr,1813023221)>0 : didn't
select nam,number from contacts wheer INSTR(1813023221,numbr)>0 : didn't
Actually in parsing 0000813023221 becomes 813023221 and it initially matches the records which is same.

Well that field is Varchar and searching string is also not a number.

INSTR('123456','0123456') works and INSTR('0123456','123456') doesn't.

No thats not what i need. I am able to get it using LIKE also. Let me explain again.
Table has a record with value '123456'. The record can be easily fetched if the matching value is a substring of '123456' but what if '123456' is the substring of that matching value.
In this case assumed matching value is '0123456'.

INSTR(column,'0123456') returns empty set because table has '123456' not '0123456'. And INSTR(column,'123456') returns the record.

Already tried that. In MySQL we Use INSTR instead of CHARINDEX. And INSTR('0123456',column)>0 returns EMTPY SET.

I have an x-vlc-plugin embedded on my page. So after the Wav file is finished recording it can be played. But if I try to play a .wav currently being recording it picks up a chunk from the beginning to that time and plays it upto when i selected to play only. But I want the portion thats currently being recorded is played live.

Already tried this... Before using style it expends on right side.. after using style it expands on left side.
<asp:DropDownList ID="ls_grp" Width="115px" runat="server" Style="margin-left:30px; width:115px;">

I have already implemented that method of streaming the file. But I want to stream file from the player on same page within that gridview as shown in snapshot. if any other player is available that'd play the .gsm files then please tell me.

"file" is the column-name of datatable which is bound to gridview. This column contains the path of all the files.. suppose "D:\media\music1.gsm"
File could be a gsm, mp3, wav
