I not understand your problem.
please give me your datafield of both table and what field you want to show in your gridview.

Retrieve the DataTable from your sql with
"SELECT CustomerName,CustomerName,
FROM Orders inner join OrderDetails on Orders .ID = OrderDetails.orderRef"

and store in dt.

dt is the DataTable Object

and write in cs file
gridview1.DataSource = dt;
gridview1.DataBind();

I hope your problem will solve......

Are you use ComboboxColumn in your grid view or display normal in data table???

How many Column in your table?

at first you can retrieve data from SQL and store the data in Datatable dt......

select TokenNo,VehicleNo,InTime from ScooterInOut order by reverse(vehicleNo) desc where TokenStatus=0

for which column based you want sorting...........

select * from tablename order by reverse(Coloumnname) desc
