Thanks for your consideration! I know that. I use Function instead of using FunctionA or FunctionW, when UNICODE is defined, it will resolves to FunctionW, otherwise FunctionA. I think this is not the key to this problem ! Anyway, thanks very much!

Set the sample code as this: project->Properties->Configuration Properties->General->Character Set->Not Set, it will works as if the CComboBox isn't replaced with CCstmComboBox! But, if we set it to be Unicode, the ComboBox in the dialog won't response anymore. I found that the message sent by CComboBox::OnLButtonDown didn't go to OnChildNotify as the case "Not set".
