Yeah it was rather helpful :) much appreciated!
Something called OblyTile (google it) does exactly what I'm trying to achieve with one flaw: no wide tiles (or live tiles for that matter). I'll be using that until microsoft either fixes this nuisance or someone finds a work-around (I'm much too noob to try it myself). I recommend giving it a look.

...and I suppose the .exe file extension can't be "best opened" by another application?
All I've been trying to do is make large tiles and artwork for shortcuts to desktop applications, but I guess this work-around isn't gonna work. I'll do some more research, thank you for your extensive answer.

After SAKryukov's post, this makes perfect sense.

I think I got it.
But what is Reflection?
Nevermind.
I can do like Joshi suggested then.

well... "a List accessible by all classes/structs/whatever within the GC namespace, but not accessible by any class/struct/whatever in another namespace" might have fit better.
I understand that what I'm writing is confusing, I dont know all the right words yet. I've been coding for like a month tops.
I'm trying to make a List which I can add MyControls to, but all access modifiers I've tried so far still make the List accessible by other namespaces (instead of only GC).

Thanks man, but I already know how to use GC's classes/methods from another namespace. What I dont know is how to prohibit access to certain classes in the GC namespace.

Yes, it is an access modifier I'm looking for, but I can't find the right one.
The List I'm trying to make can't be defined outside a class (at least I think so?), so I need a class, but visual studio throws an error when I try to make the class "protected", "private" or "protected internal".
Making the class internal still makes it accessible from another namespace...
Edit:
I just thought of another problem with what I'm trying to do, I think I'll need to redo the entire code.

It was quite easy to convert it actually, I think I asked it in the spur of the moment. Right click the project -> Properties -> Select .Net Framework 3.5 in the Target Framework drop-down box.
I also found that it DOES work with .NET Framework 4.0, but not .NET Framework 4.0 Client Profile (whatever the f* that is?). It's listed in the Target Framework drop-down box, try :)

Ah! There we go! Thanks man (big thanks to vj reddy for taking his time to help me as well).
If I can bother you some more, how do I convert a project from framework 4.0 to 3.5? (Are there any downsides?)
Edit: Oh yes, how did you know it was incompatible with 4.0?

This is the source of my problem. Adding the reference and building the solution gives me the error
"The type or namespace name 'Ookii' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)"

Thanks.
I copied Ookii.Dialogs.dll to the bin\Debug folder, but I get the same error.
"Error, The type or namespace name 'Ookii' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)"
(Yes I made sure my solution referred to copied dll, not the original one)

I'm missing the System.Diagnostics.Process.UseShellExecute method (I am using System.Diagnostics).
Not having it there does start the game, but not in windowed mode :/
