Thanks for your answer. The nextImg function of the onclick attribute was missing the (). I fixed it and the slideshow ran. I used Safari to debug my code and it gave me back a no error, no warnings message. Is there another use for the debugger that I'm missing. It seems like debugging the code would have picked up on that syntax error. This was the error: "nextImg)".
