i am trying to do a match. if the sound i taking in, is the same as the sound i have in my database, the phone would vibrate.
So to make it very precise, I intend to compare using the frequency level of the sound.

what i mean is, letting the app run on the background. like, if the user did not exit from the application, but just pressing the home button. so it means that the app is still running. then my qns is that, can the microphone still work when the app is at the background.

i am currently using this code:
Response.ClearContent();
Response.Buffer = true;
Response.AddHeader("content-disposition", string.Format("attachment; filename={0}", "Customers.xls"));
Response.ContentType = "application/ms-excel";
StringWriter sw = new StringWriter();
HtmlTextWriter htw = new HtmlTextWriter(sw);
GridView1.AllowPaging = false;
GridView1.DataBind();
//Change the Header Row back to white color
GridView1.HeaderRow.Style.Add("background-color", "#FFFFFF");
//Applying stlye to gridview header cells
for (int i = 0; i < GridView1.HeaderRow.Cells.Count; i++)
{
GridView1.HeaderRow.Cells[i].Style.Add("background-color", "#507CD1");
}
int j = 1;
//This loop is used to apply stlye to cells based on particular row
foreach (GridViewRow gvrow in GridView1.Rows)
{
//gvrow.BackColor = Color.White;
if (j <= GridView1.Rows.Count)
{
if (j % 2 != 0)
{
for (int k = 0; k < gvrow.Cells.Count; k++)

I following the example on this website: http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2010/03/18/building-a-windows-phone-7-twitter-application-using-silverlight.aspx
void Twitter_DownloadStringCompleted(object sender, DownloadStringCompletedEventArgs e)
{
if (e.Error != null)
return;
XElement xmlTweets = XElement.Parse(e.Result);
listBox1.ItemsSource = from tweet in xmlTweets.Descendants("status")
select new TwitterItem
{
ImageSource = tweet.Element("user").Element("profile_image_url").Value,
Message = tweet.Element("text").Value,
UserName = tweet.Element("user").Element("screen_name").Value
};
}
In this particular method, at this line:
XElement xmlTweets = XElement.Parse(e.Result);
they say that NotSupportedException
HOW???
