There is no problem with random number generation. I have checked this by adding watches. There is a problem with the assignment to <Button>.Background for some reason. Most of the times it is not being assigned to the values on the RHS.

I meant that suppose a button has yellow, the other buttons in the same group should have different colors(i.e, blue or red) but sometimes two buttons in the same group have same colors. And sometimes, no matter how many times the method is called, there are no changes in the background of the buttons. I have tried many times.

Intention is not to make the user think that the phone has crashed. All I want to do is to enable visibility of a picture for two seconds, and make it invisible after two seconds(i.e., before repainting my display). All user interaction is to be ignored during this time.

Thanks a lot Zang. There is another question regarding this, is there a way to copy the image list to a another list, so that i can use that list without having the earlier conflict.

Oh. Why would that generate an exception. I am only reading from the collection. My question maybe silly, but I am not sure about why this is happening, and what I am supposed to do. Can you be more elaborate?

in the above question, I dont think kschandru wants to split the list on any particular criterion. I think he means to do it manually during runtime according to user's input on the position of node to be splitted.

u mean there is no need to integrate the compiler?? and i've kind of figured out how to create executable file for the code given by user after compiling, but i want to know how i can write the output of the executing code to a file..
