thanks for the guidance, but i would ike to know- how I shall be able to show the date in placeholder attribute..?

Placeholder- gives me some idea.. actually I have added an ajax date extender. Including to this i want to show date of today in the asp text box. doing this, i m not able to fetch the date that user selects. To avoid using jquery sol I thought if i could use a date as a watermark which i could hide on mouse hover. Hope it will help you to help me. :)

yes, if 0 is the max value than again it is showing 0 in the table instead it should display or insert 1001...
