Might be good to add some more information when this would be useful or some more context...
But either way interesting technique. Thanks for sharing

Cool, interesting stuff.
Commenting the code or breaking it up a little with screenshots would certainly add more value.

This is by far one of the best articles on the site... I almost never give out a 5 rating... but for this I wish there was a 6.
I am sure this will be a hall of fame one once it circulates more... really good information in here.
Thanks again for taking the time to share with everyone else!!!

Has tons of potential to be a long and informative walk thorough... instead of complaining about lack of code, I hope the community comes together and makes this article even better

Instead of giving a vote of one, you could submit an alternative to help add value to this article.

Nice.... interesting stuff here...
You should throw the JQuery you discuss in there as well, I mean if its just one line of code then can't really be much harm...

Seen many variations of this... almost all use the foreach loop.
Also FindControl() helps... and also using the AS keyword to make all controls the same object...
Wish I had the time to write something out for you...
But thanks for posting!

I personally agree with you, however I am sure you can also imagine situations and business/style constraints that would not allow this, so it is nice to have the information in case this dilemma ever does arise.

Yes, that is absolutely correct. Without this additional messagename you would receive an error regarding the web method's non-uniqueness

It was a joke Alex, relax. Would have been a four with or without Beiber...
And seeing how you responded to the prior comment which is close to mine, you seem to be practicing an inconsistent methodology....?

SMS gateway and serialization optimization are my favs here
We need some standardized way to make sure articles aren't "lost at sea"...
Maybe sort articles by page views? Any ideas?

I agree, I tried to echo that in my comment. The formatting and overall grammar detracts from a beginner being able to understand everything occuring...
Pictures wouldn't kill you either...especially when your giving a demo....!
Thanks again Niaz!

Thanks! Good basic info here.
No offense, but it needs someone to review it for grammar and spelling...the overall readability is decreased from the poor punctuation placement...
But again thanks for taking the time to write this.
