why you don't add a combo box with some numbers to get the group of each data from user.
i mean when you get other data from user you get a id number to divide them to some groups?

i think the problem get back to the app.config that i used because when i searched the first error that showed i found s.t about problems of app.config
the error that catch give me:

You know my procedure is not setting or updating to execute or open query it's just a selection from db
but i tried to open cs but unfortunately it doesn't work

i rebuilt it Richard and i checked that there were right

the code doesn't read that part it jumps out from the first line.
what do you mean off checking da.fill you mean may my data base table has some problems.
it may help that this problem when happened that i wanted to use app.config to use connect string but when i remove it to solve the problem i found the problem again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hii can not see any parameter that you sent to db to search the numbers
do you mean you don't know how to create a search store procedure in sql or how to work with a search procedure from sql ?
