hi,
Thankyou for replying.setTimeout did not work i had already tried it.

Highlight function called here again...

In the above snipped I have called textlayerrendered event listner to identify if page is rendered. But the problem is it again fails when I 1st time jump in 2nd page here it highlights text of previous page as the 2nd page is not rendered.

Hope you understood the above issue..

hey, have already tried all this..Let me tell you what is actually want..

I have PDFS file in which I want to jump to a chunk(string) location based on the chunk(string) count. For example, in PDFS file I have around 100 chunks(strings) on page 5 and I want to jump to 53rd chunk(string) of the this page.

Obviouly i have tried many things and didnt got proper answer, thats why i am here. Below code jumps to the page number when i click on page number in the div. From the below code to can try to get page number from Database and jump on the apprppriate page..

Now the challange is how to get the word index after jumping to page.

Before this javascript technique i have also tried making a pdf file using itextshare and highlighting text with hardcode coordinate value. Also getting page number dynamically using below code.

HI,
can you please tel me where you are providing the text(Text or Word that you want to find in the PDF). strText is empty and s gives you entire pdf content. Please tel me if you i want to find a word in the pdf hw can i do it. i have values like page number , word number and total number of words to b highlighted.

Please guide me for the same.

a1mimo thankyou for your suggestion. i got an answer where fb provides you with the friend ids who liked you album,pic, status etc. so my app is working fine with recent friends who liked me stuff.

i know that winword will work on server site & the PC on which i am deploying the project is having MS word&MS excel,so plz give me an alternative the same.

yes i know that there would a case were the default directory would be different in some cases but i dont know how to go the other way.
