I did read such articles before posting my question sir. its not that I did not care to refer answers but it was similar to what I read earlier...

thats all fine sir but the fact is most projects are already been done by earlier batches.. hence whatever we decide is either been done or it is not much difficult.. can you suggest any topic that can be done in java as I don't know any other bigger language

sounds very difficult to build AI project.. may be I should look at different topics

I thought you will run it and then look at it..
Anyways problem is it is giving correct cipher text but not decrypted plain text.
May be problem is with decryption method but what is the problem am not getting it.

Agree.. and I love to learn more on programming but unfortunately there is no time..Want to ask the very basic things for MYSQL database.. from its creation please give some links from yourself or internet.. as there are lot of information but many of them are not understandable to me....

Hmmm... but unfortunately there is no help from lecturers and they told us to self-study and as i said we don't know anything about MYSQL or Oracle.. how can we create database without any knowledge of it.... Main point is when will we study and when will we complete our project....

Our college is not allowing MS-Access to use as database for our project.. They say to use MYSQL or Oracle which we have not learnt. So group decided to use files to store information... It looks difficult too.. but we will do it...

So I can store encrypted data in my database and will decrypt it whenever user want it. In this way when any hacker gets to database he will get the encrypted password and not original..

Hence even if database is encrypted using AES and TwoFish encryption algorithms data stored are still vulnerable because they are in original form and hacker if gets to database will get it. KeePass unfortunately lacks there and must work on it..

But I have read something like the data is stored as it is and database itself is made secured. But problem is when data is stored as it is in good format what if anyone get access to database. So it would be nice to store data in encrypted format and when required decrypt it.

Is Derby more secured than MS Access...

KeePass makes the database encryption only than the data stored in database. So if anyone could get access to database everything is gone..

yes I am interested in programming and not in theory just memorize if you can't understand and I will work hard in programming just because it gives you satisfaction when you make successful program for any impractical situation.

Sir well agree that research is a part of engineering but sorry these philosophical words don't apply in our universities they won't marks and the pressure of other subjects we can't give our whole time to projects. And when we don't know anything other than c++ and little java what research can we do.

Sir I know whats vigenere cipher technique is but for me it is difficult to code for the logic that it uses with the matrix combinations.
