TO ALL COMMENTERS: Thanks for your attempts to help. I am the author of the question. I now find that there is an area related specifically to ToDoList where I am more likely to find answers to the questions I have. The status bar on the right says that I can "delete the question," but the only thing that seems to relate to doing that--the red X to the right of "improve question" does not do that. If anyone can provide instructions, I will delete the question. Otherwise, please post no further comments.
