As I already said, you need to check all tables one by one whether record is present or not. Write some code for that.

What kind of application are you writing? Is it a application which will be accessing central database from various client machine? or something like chatting application?

Different client applications require deferent models/architecture. Unless you don't clear your application details, it is really hard to give the solution.

Shrinking is not helping me. Basically over the year my database will grow by another 150 GB.

No, its not about transaction log. My Transaction log is of 630 MB only whereas database file is 498 GB. I don't have sufficient disk space to add new transactions. I want to split my mdf files and start using disk space available on another drive as I said in the question.

Thanks for reply. I tried second option by coverting Varchar2 to NVarchar but still it shows data as ?. Is there any way to alter the selected tables to support Unicode data as my database has only one table which requires Unicode support.

Why don't you display default/sample image as a place holder if employee has not uploaded an image.

Your solution would require Active Internet connection on client machine. My system is working in intranet only where no internet connection available. Can I have any kind of control which will allow me to display PDF files in offline mode?
