It's not that the code is wrong or non functioning it's that the tip is not about multicast delegates as the title implies. Multicast delegates go through an invocation list and invoke many methods not just one. There are threading concerns and object lifetime concerns when you use multicast delegates I was expecting the tip to address something like that.

I don't think you understand what a multicast delegate is. See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.multicastdelegate.aspx Also I'm not to sure what you you are trying to accomplish with this trick/tip
