OK this process 1gb chunk in a loop, and it doesn't exit 'while loop' until I write 'Exit While' if I found some bytes, also if i doesn't use ProcessChunk sub it loop without end, so any workaround for this if possible?

Thank you two for your replies, the first solution I know it and it didn't helped me, it works with small size of files but not the big one, the second one is not what I want, all what I want is to read a bytes from a large file.

it only accept one byte!

No problem while getting bytes from file, but the problem is when finding the exact byte, and loop until there is null byte.

I'm trying to read specie bytes from file, then after finding it, i will make the start position from the founded bytes, then seek and writing to binary file until null bytes is found.

When i read the file it returned mismatch values:

Original Value that opened in HxD program:
56 47 7B FA 81 51 00 AF A7 AA CE 9C 7A 23 DA 4D

Returned value from this code:
56 47 7B FA 81 51 0 AF A7 AA CE 9C 7A 23 DA 4D

Original Value that opened and copied from HxD program:

Edit: After looking into the output value, i determined the problem that It returned 0 instead of 00 if it's empty

Also after getting the hex values, can i convert it back to byte and write it to a file?

thanks for your reply, the problem that if there is more than one item that it's forecolor is red, if I loop it will return default color, and also if i select the item which forecolor is red all the selected items will be in red same too for items with default color!
So i guess it will be not possible?

tried that and it's worked, but didn't do what i want, i don't want all the selected items to be in red color, i want the species items to be in red when selected. so i tried also that on ItemMouseHover

thanks for your reply, but this program CCleaner running as admin and also it allow drag & drop files into it! ( CCleaner in options tab -> include )

the app required to run as admin in windows 7 ( to edit the registry ) also the UAC is enabled, so drag and drop is not working with me until i disabled the UAC

I want to read the output in real time, so ReadToEnd is not an option to me.
And how to read characters instead of readLine ?

no, i cannot access to the console app because it's not mine, and it has 10%~100% PROGRESS
but it doesn't printed in new line, so i cannot capture it.

This code doesn't work, it only work if the console printed a new line otherwise it will not working.

I tried to do that but still no output until the application is closed.
some app work normal and display the output, but also some other app doesn't show output until it closed ( but it shows in normal windows command line )

so i have contact the author of the program and he said to me i must use buffer or pipe because some application doesn't show line and the data is saved in VB.NET internal buffer... also he said :
You must read raw data from stream by Read() command.
You should use multi-tread or timer event,
because the Read() stop until data coming.
You keep 1KB size buffer for line by yourself,
and save data each time it reads from stdout stream.

so i don't know how to make it...

when i select only one folder and run JPG2LV from context menu it's work OK, but when i select more folders ( example : 5 folders ) it's open a 5 JPG2LV
And when i check ( Make single instance application ) JPG2LV open and work but a lot of crash appears!

And when i used ( Configure FileMenu Tools ) and uncheck ( Make single instance application )
it's open only one JPG2LV and work great without any problems.

Please Any idea!
