How would I do that?

Ok. I did install service by hand using sc install and it won't start. So the problem is with builder 2010 Service Application not working on 64 bit.

I will try to install c++ program as service by hand and see if that works. At least I will narrow where the problem is.

I already did change c++ code to debug. I also made sure that c# service setup is pointing to debug version of exe file and both recompiled it and reinstalled. Everything looks like the c++ code is never called. There are no entries for start and stop of service in event log. Beeps inserted in the code don't work either.

First question - I don't know. I presume it installs service that points to image of whatever file you specify.

As to registry it shows

Well I don't know what other information is really needed. I have 6 other services with exactly same problem. They all work fine when installed on 32 bit system but don't work on 64 bit.

Ok you are right it does have entry in registry (as a service but underlying application doesn't). I said is unimportant cuz I don't understand how this affect diagnosing of my problem. Can you explain? I would say if registry entry for service would be missing it would die at start instead of pretending to be ok.

Its unimportant. There are no messages in eventlog not even custom ones that start of service should produce. No registry keys are used for this particular service.

No the C++ code is 32 bit. Problem is that no matter what I set in c#, service won't run on 64 bit system (it only pretends to run).

Can you be more specific? Overriding methods of existing components is not what I do everyday :)
Example of overriden method(s) would be great.

Ok P is "new camera matrix" - which doesn't explain anything. I guess thats why I have used camera matrix M. If you find explanation whats the difference please post it here.

Ha I think I have read this somewhere in OpenCV book but how valid that is I don't know.
My solution was working but I had problem with distance measure not groving linear way eg. at 10cm it was showing 10 at 20cm 30 at 40cm 90 etc. Maybe thats the reason.

You are right, I got carried over. But I was hoping that someone here have some experience with computer vision and encountered simmilar problem.
