I had been using that documentation and it states "Once you have performed required custom draw actions, set the e.Handled parameter to true to prevent the default renderer from changing this cell. Otherwise, your custom appearance can be lost."
So I'd imagine the default renderer is still changing the cell.
Any suggestions of what to try would be welcome.

I'm not sure what you mean here. This sets ReturnValue to true if I try and import a blank cell.

Thank you Graeme. I'll definitely be using Blazor University.

I want them to be allowed to be null so I can display a message box saying that you require that value to be entered. For some context the whole thing is trying to import columns from a .CSV. So if that column is blank I want to say that it has to have value.

"And I'd use the debugger to find out exactly what values I was working with instead of assuming it's a .NET Framework error!" I realised this as soon as the first comment came in.
Thanks for your help again Griff. I did try and use TimeSpan in the posted logic but it wasn't hitting that point with the right data.

Thank you yes. I've just seen that StartTime and EndTime contain zero values.

Thank you for the answer but this seems to return the same result as the code I was using.

Ah I see. I'll not do those in future. Maybe only of the exception itself. My problem was with naming the class the same thing as the enum. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your response. Did you click on the link to the imgur album with screenshots of my code? I'm not sure if there is a way to post the screenshots in the post other than doing it this way.

Hey, I just fixed it a moment ago using a table layout panel but i'm not sure how to now close this question or mark it as solved.

Obvious to you not obvious to me. I don't know what 'documentation' is.

I was testing the function but I was only typing in lower case "o's" in the test as I didn't know it would be case sensitive like this. Initially I had no idea why it wasn't working as it wasn't removing any characters. After Simon's comment I realised that it was because I had the O capitalised but still didn't know how to remove both uppercase and lowercase O's. Then Simon gave me the solution to do it like this "[Oo]".

Sorry, I have now edited my question. I realised why it wasn't working for me before to some extent.
