I have tried all the methods stated above. But no luck.
I just need to clear one thing here... Windows starts all the application when the short cut of that application is copied in the startup folder. For this activity do we need to handle anything in the code?

My app is a desktop application which is created using WIX installer. Is there any way we can write a code in WIX installer and achieve anything mentioned above...
