i copied your code exactly the same and pasted it......and i am working on a project and i have to urgently do some changes that why i did not made any changes and gave meaning full names.

Griff it solved tht error but new error pooped up :-
Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_order'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.order'. The duplicate key value is (3).

Ashish i am still getting the same error and did as u said..it showed me 0 value...but still same error.
