character set is not set. Buffer is a small paragraph that is written to the edit box using SetWindowText(hEdit2, buffer) function. And m_szWord is what i enter to other edit box and get it using GetWindowText function. It is of type LPSTR. I want to search m_szWord in the first edit box(hEdit2).
