I have been trying to use codeproject's Reed Kimble's "Using winmm.dll to generate MIDI audio" in vb.net but I don't know how to include all the different classes and structs that he has. There are a few errors in that code and I am not knowledgable enough to fix the errors so I came here for help. His code has all the instruments but I have no idea as how to get them to work.

I am learning WPF in vb.net and I am on menus. I don't see how I can use index with menu as I have to use a new click event for each item within the particular group. In Windows vb.net I am able to use filename(index) instead of having a sub for each menuitem and having to duplicate the code for each menuitem.

I removed all the needfooters in the code but it still goes to a new window instead of displaying in the current window. I used a different code and it doesn't have frames as it uses a fixed top menu. I used document.getElementById("demo").innerHTML = newDoc(); it inserts the table at the top of the browser under the menu. I need to be able to click on a menu selection to display at will and not have it display onload. I tried to put document.getElementById("demo").innerHTML = newDoc(); in a function as opposed to stand alone but that placed the table in a new window.
Here is the main part of the code
[code]
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<style>
body {margin:0;}
ul {list-style-type: none; margin: 0; padding: 0; overflow: hidden; background-color: #333;
position: fixed; top: 0; width: 100%;}
li {float: left;}
li a {display: block; color: white; text-align: center; padding: 14px 16px; text-decoration: none;}
li a:hover:not(.active) { background-color: #111;}
.active { background-color: #4CAF50;}
</style>

{tmpArray[k] = "

document.write("<table border=1>");
for (var i = 0;i<= 87;i++){
if (i % 8 == 0){
document.write ("<tr>"); }
document.write ("<td>" + tmpArray[i] + "</td>");
}
if (i % 8 == 8){document.write ("</tr>"); }
document.write ("</table>");
}
</script>
</head>
<body>
<p id="demo"></p>
<script type="text/javascript">
function DisplayTable(){
document.getElementById("demo").innerHTML = newDoc();
}

The html table displays in the top frame instead of the main frame window. I tried it with a fixed top menu without frames and the table goes to a new window instead of the current window. I used document.getElementById("demo").innerHTML = newDoc(); with <p id="demo"></p> as a placeholder. it works but only if it is not in a function. I need to be able to call the table with a menu selection not onload time.
