Yes, definitely, if they know it or can find it. Thanks.

That is very true. Actually our users need Administrator privilege for research work and testing. May be I can think of some other solution or alarms over the network/http to let us know if someone tries to uninstall the program.

I have done this only after following the forum links and Chrome Extension Dev notes. As I am not an expert in this field, I posted in detail so that it can help you understand whether I am missing something or I have covered all the steps correctly but some error may have occurred and I need to debug it.

Actually I don't want to hide, but it is our in-house project where we are monitoring activities on remote connections made by our users and as administrator, we don't want our users to uninstall this program either accidentally or intentionally. the software will be distributed to the users and they themselves will install it on their respective machines, they will the know the purpose of the software. All the machines have admin rights, so any software can be installed or uninstalled. May be, I posted my query in a wrong way, but I just want to prevent my users from uninstalling the program. I have edited my question.

Yes you are very true. I can now understand that. The exception is also coming at Eventlog at the time of Service Installation. What should I do now? What options are left? Is it a problem of WCF? Please help.

I have gone through this solutions, the service any way fails to start. I am worried about the exception at Event Log. Is the problem in app.config?

I have work around the process and found that the application is able to send the active browser title and url both from Firefox and Chrome to the Server in Debug as well as in Release mode; but when I have used to run this Application using Windows service, firefox shows: **The client failed to connect to "firefox|WWW_GetWindowInfo". Make sure the server application is running and that it supports the specified service name and topic name pair**. In case of chrome, **MainWindowHandle becomes zero in everytime**. I have used **DdeClient** for firefox and **AutomationElement** for chrome.
