Thanks Bill for your response. Many of those who already knows the basic concept of oops but still not comfortable to apply oops methodology at real world example, that is how to use oops concept in real time scenario , i think the answer of this question will surely help to great extend.

what would happen if column type is nvarchar? With nvarchar column i have vlaue "ABC001" and I am getting max value like MAX(RIGHT(ID,3)) +1 will be 002 and same would happen to other users ?
