I have tried this. The only thing that workss is button's background color!!
I believe what I'm going to do is create the same image with grey-scale and replace button's background image like : views.setInt(R.id.btn_start,"setBackgroundResource", R.drawable.button_start_grey);
more images but it works, I guess!

I'm trying to change the image color under certain condition. it works fine from activity but from widget it's not.

I'm not an SQL expert, but as @Gerry said using temporary tables is not a bad idea.
I see you have 3 'WHERE field IN' and then big SELECT statement. What I might do is using temp tables for these select specially they have all kind of JOIN and Convert, so instead of WHERE field IN (SELECT...) it will be WHERE field IN (#tempTable). Then after you finished with your update simply drop #tempTable.

Do you have office installed on your machine? are you sure you using the correct DLL. the error says you are using higher version.

this solution works very well when using array of bytes or signed char. but if `data` is of type `NSData` I got error: expected method to read array element not found on object of type NSData. we can't just read data[i] if it's NSData

yes i have added "firmware" directory. check this line of code: list = manager.list("firmware"); (list of all files in "firmware" folder.

There's no cancel button. My cancel code is in comment in the beginning of the method. Should timer have a cancel button?

I don't think this is the problem, the reason for using list is I will be having number of files in this folder. I have to filter which one to use.
I have just tested the list and i can see i have 2 files when debugging. so if the [manager.list] has files in this directory, why the stream doesn't see them?

@011111100010‬ the user is going to upload a file from his/her machine using a web interface. I guess no choice I have to save the uploaded file first before sending as attachment.

I know i have to get the absolute path of the attached file, the problem is the uploadFile control, the file is on the client/user machine I can't use Server.MapPath and i don't want to save the uploaded file (FileUpload.SaveAs). I'm looking for a way to upload PDF and send it as attachment using SQL database mail.

what i found out the problem is not in your code or mine, the problem is global.asax is on the root and all my aspx files and master pages are inside a folder called (EN) not on the root. Routing works fine with any page/form that located on the main root of the project not files located inside folders!!

what do you mean by bad characters? Do you use it as parameter to a SQL query? you could use regular expression. Please be more specific

If I understand correctly, you want to use comboBox selected value as parameter for your second query, so you should change this: comboBoxInvoice.ValueMember to comboBoxInvoice.SelectedValue.

you could assign textbox.text as a parameter when redirect to next form like:
in Form1:

and according to param show or create you panels

ok, thank you now i understand!
for the correct procedure to create a website:
1- right click IIS Sites>> Add website
2- add the website name & physical location (e.g D:\test-site).
3- in (D:\test-site) i should paste the contents of the published web app. from my local machine.
4- right click the website to create virtual directory
5- copy the same contents of (D:\test-site) to this directory
6- set the default document of the website (e.g Home.aspx)

are these steps correct?

it's my first deployment. i have never tried to publish a web app.
i published the web forms app. to a local folder then i created a new website directed location to a folder where i copied my web app. from local folder.
BUT i noticed it published without (.CS) files[is it normal?] + i can't browse the site.
AND if i create a virtual directory should i copy the same contents to it?

Please advise, i'm completely lost!!
