sorry, i didn't see in his question it had to be free? Additionally, the election app could have been for non-commercial application.

if you have an idea of which files it could be, stick a 'console.log("[nameOfFile]");' tag in each of the files, thats a brute force way of doing it.
other options include using dev tools in the browser and going to the scripts tab and seeing which js files have been loaded in the DOM

id love to help, but you're styling and html is all over the place (after copying into jsFiddle).
to make code slide in you can use Jquery animate function like so
$("#nameOfDivToSlide").animate({width:'toggle'},350);
for more reference https://api.jquery.com/animate/

Like Afzaal says make youre javascript function is accessible, especially if using a modular JS design pattern. Also double check that your js file where the function lays is being rendered into the page (view page source).

i have no idea what it is you're asking us to do? Do you mean you want to disable the 3rd textbox until 1 and 2 are validated, and then run a calculation on all three?

problem with this is the number="" that part will change with the object part, so switch(prod) that will become number=prod.Number, if switch(industry) number=ind.Guid
how would i get round that with your example?

i usually utilize a string builder, do you know any examples of the way you do it?

the Url you're directing the Ajax request to would have to be either an xml page and then build an object of data in a string builder, to use in the Response.Write() method.
or utilise a WCF webservice, or WebApi

I would but I need to access the match in order to retrieve the product number as the product number is in the new string .
Grant Weatherston

Would that work though as updated would get overwritten each loop when a new match is iterated, as updated = current description. Replace it would t have all replacements done.

thanks Frederik, so to clarify would you have to override in order for lazy loading to be feasible, or does EF utilise lazy loading whether you ovveride the property or not?

I thought that could be the case, but i didnt know if the last park with the .Any would work as didnt know how it would collect the data, or if it would muddle up the results, with parts that match first bit and then any results in the whole collection tha match the subscribers part.
Or does it work like multiple if's e.g if(i<5).., (if langauge == 'en') move on , foreach(subscriber) if subscriber id = 5 , add to the returned list? and stop at 5 ? is that how the LINQ logic works behind scenes?

could you explain why this should work? as i always thought you had to have "" when naming variables in html, e.g runat="server", ID = "button1" etc. Whats the difference between '' and ""

Thanks alot this worked perfectly ! just so i can make sure i've understood how this works..
you create the dictionary with key being id, and value of the array position? then do order by the dictionary passing in the key (id) as index it'll search for that key, and brings back value 0,1,2,3,4 and will order by them ?
