Started my programming experiences somewhere around 1989 (13 years old) in
Borland's Turbo Pascal 5.5/7 and Microsoft's Assembly (Anyone remember these ?)
Over the next years, I was making some big leaps in my development skills - until 1994 - when I've been forced to lay it aside "for a little while" (~5 years);
But never lost my will for improving my programming capabilities, learning and expanding my skills.
Between 1999 and 2001 I've studied Software Engineering - which have been focused - back then - over C++ and Visual Studio 6 (!).
I've finished my studies around the time when the (
so called)
Hi-Tech Bubble over my country had exploded, and dozens lost their work
(... leaving me with no place to start with ...).
About 5 years Later I started working in my professinal area again (where at this point I was
BADLY outdated as of the recent technologies:
.Net 1.0,
.Net 1.1)...
But, as the fast learner I am - took me about two years to catch up, and I was back!
As for now, since around mid-2005, I'm working as a software developer and Help-Desk manager in a private company providing chemical raw materials for the medical industry.
Nowadays - focusing mainly on C#4.0 and .Net 3.5/4.0 - I'm pushing (or at least trying to push) our software technologies to the latest ones.
Still enjoying and loving my work and, as
Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story) says:
<quot>
“To the infinity and beyond!”
