@Sean-Ewington - What's the consensus on using URL shorteners to obfuscate links in articles? One pending[^] and at least one existing[^] article from an established member, with bit.ly links that claim to link to his blog and his Pluralsight course.
I can't see any reason for using bit.ly for links in an article, unless it's to disguise spam.

I know this guy. He writes blog entries. That's likely what this is. In these cases I would say no, bit.ly links are not allowed, but they will simply be removed. No need to report the user.
