It's a difficult on, but I'm not sure it's plagiarism. the fragments are too brief, and too "generic" to be certain, and there aren't enough similarities between the MSDN blog and the tip he published.

I think he writes crap tips, but either he is cleverer than he seems at hiding his plagiarism, or it's genuine. I suggest keeping an eye on him for the moment: if he's plagiarising then he will do it repeatedly, and get lazier as the earlier ones seem to get through without problems. Then we can pounce! Laugh | :laugh:

Well...you blew it, because - as you should well know by now, we don't tolerate plagiarism or plagiarists.

You'd been here what, two years IIRC? And then you decided that the normal rules of civilized behaviour (like "don't steal other peoples work") didn't apply to you. What kind of treatment did you expect when we found out? A pat on the back?

You can plead for your account back, by explaining exactly why you thought it was a good idea to do this, and what you are going to do in future to prevent it happening again - and if the powers that be are feeling generous, and they believe you are truly repentant, they may allow you your account back. But if they do be aware that we will watch you very closely and you will not get a third chance. Plead your case here: Sugs'n'bugs[^] and it might work.
