There are hundreds of people (or even more) logging in to CP forums everyday.
From my experience, these people will always try to help whenever they're able to and share their knowledge. Heck, some of them even go the extra step on finding out stuff they don't know about.
I'm sure it'll be quick enough for you to post a question and browse Google and MSDN for more information while waiting for someone to answer your post.
PS: Make your questions short, precise, clear, AND polite so others will be more inclined to answer them.

hi all
Reasons given by all of u are correct but i have some more reasons.
So days ago, i have a problem in inserting data into the table of SQL Server through C#. I tried it many times, posted it on another forum ( not cp ). after many hours , i got the response, and the problem was that i was missing only a comma in the string. This was a very short problem, had it been corrected quickly, it may have taken me only five minutes to complete my task, which otherwise took many hours. Many times such things happen. For this type of things i am asking for some kind persons to add me.
For longer problem , i agree that they must be posted on the CP so that other people can also be benefited by them. And there must be many possible solutions that come as a output for that big problem. But for small problems like the one mentioned above, i donot think that there are many solutions for that, and if it takes hours to solve problem like mentioned in above para, then i think its better to leave the software engg and start so other work.
As for as the point that no one can help other instananiously, because no one is free..... i will only say that if a person can come to cp and spend his hours to answer the queries, then that person can also spend seconds to answer questions like described in first para, ask from them on the messenger.
Now i think that, if there are some kind persons available there in this forum, then they will surely add me to their messenger list in order to solve the short problem of their younger brother....
Looking for very much health response...

Does any body know how to take SQL Sever 2000 or Access Database backup in c#.net? Mean what program we write in c#.net to take whole database [Table,Relation etc] backup.

For Access, it's simply a matter of copying the .mdb file (via File.Copy). With SQL Server, it's a bit more complicated, you have lots of options, but the two simplest are:
1. Execute a "DUMP DATABASE" or "BACKUP DATABASE"
2. Use SQLDMO. There are lots of articles teaching how to use SQLDMO in C#, search on Google and you'll find it.

Daniel do you have idea how can we share same database in different client mean if some there are some changing in one side db than how can we send changes to other client db. If you know i great but if you never know than it's not matter... Anyways thanks for you help

It depends what you mean by "change": if you want to keep data in sync, you could use SQL Server's replication (I believe that Access also support it, but I'm not sure).
If by "change", you mean changes in the database structure, I'd suggest you to use a product like "SQL Compare".

I am unsure as to if there is a class out there to do integration. I would suggest using Remiann sums and limits with ever increasingly small delta values. You will be able to get a close approximation for the integral. If anyone knows of calss to do differentiation and integration please comment on this. Thanks

yeah this is simple but required most of time.
suppose i had made one class and i want to use the properties and method of that class into another class of another form but is there any common thing (like common class or place) by in which i can create the instance of that class for once and i got excess of the properties to every class any time?

Hi!
I have created a similar thread before and I was not able to find a possible solution. Here is the issue again.
I need someplace where I can filter all messages of the application (main form and all child forms). I have implemented message filters but somehow the child modal dialogs does not seem to have message filtered (there messages do not come into the filter).

I have an app written in C# (obviously). Here is my dilemma:
The form loads, instantiates a bunch of worker threads that execute one at a
time. When one finishes, it starts the next one in line. I have about 5
datagrids on 5 different tab pages in a tab control. What I'm using the
Threads for is pretty basic: get data from a database and fill a datagrid. I
use delegates throughout to allow the worker thread to call the
'FillDataGrid' method in the main thread (the form thread). I've had
problems before with threads not accessing other threads controls which is
why I use the delegates. But still it crashes with the following:
An unhandled exception of type 'System.ArgumentException' occurred in
system.windows.forms.dll
Additional information: Controls created on one thread cannot be parented to
a control on a different thread.
I decided to add another tab page (out of pure imagination) as the first tab
page in the control. voila! now everything loads properly (without changing
any code whatsoever). Problem is, I try to programmatically remove the
temporary page (with a generic "please wait while loading" message). It
removes the page fine, but on the next page in line, all the controls
dissappear. If I don't change or remove tab pages programmatically, all the
controls stay intact. I'm not sure what I am missing, and leaving the temp
page intact is just ugly. Anybody know what I'm missing?
If you put a time limit on this project, it won't ever get finished . . .

 I'm trying to use an ocx written in VB6 in my C# app and
when i try to show a form ("click a button") i get an error message
"run-time error 406 Non Modal Forms cannot be displayed ... "
what can be done if i need these forms Non Modal?

Personally I haven't worked much with this stuff, but from what I read I think that it might be a problem with how .net works with the ocx. Take a look at this article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=176468[^]

Are you talking about a ASP.NET app ??. For example in ASP.NET you are executing the application in the context of a web application and you can only show WebForms..
