hai iam trying to get the image from digital camera and to store, but its giving , out of memory error.pls give me code to rectify this error.how to convert bitmap to binary format , or formatting image.

If you close the Stream you got the image from before saving, you tend to get this error. Keep the "opening" stream open till after you saved it. Smile | :)

hi i am facing a problem in communicating web services through desktop client.

my pc is behind the firewall. when i am testing the application through the .net iDE its working fine.its communicating properly. when i am installing the client through setup its giving the error

Hi,

I have to right-click a set of nodes(respectively) and some options should be displayed there...If i click the menu ,according actions should be done....

Similar to a normal mouse Right-Click option..

Add a context menu to your form (contextMenu1)
Use the designer to set it up
Add event handlers to it
Set the ContextMenu property of your tree control to contextMenu1

hi guys,

i have a client/server application. i dont want the users of my client application to be able to terminate the process of the client application. how will i do that? is it possible to hide the process from the task manager? or is there a better way of doing this? please help...

This particular example is written in C++, so you would need to rewrite it to work in C#.

I have an application that uses one or more pre-shared AES256 Keys.
Obviously it's not safe to save them in the configuration files, nor put them in the code because you can decompile it with ILDASM.

So, how can I store them in a safe way?

It can also be found by ILDASM, however in stead of simply having the key directly as a variable you could "bury" it within some of the resources (e.g. a Bitmap the the program is using).

Convert .NET DataTime to Excel Date/Time

Hi friends,

Am exporting data from .NET to Excel..Depending upon the datatype ,am setting the Format of the Cells in the particular range in Excel.
In .NET ,am reading the data using select statement and updating the datas seperately in the Excel and then the Format of the stored datas..
If there's Date field or Time Field,.NET is reading both the datas as DateTime only.So while transferring,though the datas are stored correctly,when i use the same Excel as source to export to someother target,the datatype of the DateField is fetched as String,which i want to be as DateTime...

Am using this to set the range,ie,
mExcelRange.EntireColumn.NumberFormat = "m/d/yyyy";

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
