Again, you are not clear. What do you mean by windows volume ? Is it x * y * z ? Or , you are talking about volume of sound ?

I never heard of this type of control. Probably, you need to use slider.

You need to use waveOutSetVolume, in combination with a slider control , as said earlier.

i already tried with that. Its working , but wanted to know if one could change the sound volume of the windows. like if you mute on the dialog the windows volume is muted

You could try the mixerXxx functions in the MultiMedia section to control the volume of the speaker output device.

I have one batch file.That has one exe.When i am executing the bacth file the console window appear.
I try to hide the console window using RunConsoleWindow.exe / cmdow utility that is worked but when i am used that in program it does not worked.
Any Alternate to do this.plz help me??????????

Go to the command line and type "start /?". The /B is what you're looking for.

In your command line do the following:

(where you replace "batchfile.bat" with the name of your batch file).

Actually, if you are a beginner, there is no easy way especially without ATL. This article should get you started: http://www.codeproject.com/com/com_in_c1.asp[^]. This article actually deals more with creation rather than usage. However, I believe you need to understand the process from creation to employment to actually use COM/OLE in C++ correctly. Some may disagree with this but this has been my experience.

do u use MFC? if yes, u could use CHtmlView which wraps WebBrowser control.

Hi All,
I have created a sample workspace using Microsoft Visual C++ .Net( Version 1.0). I could compile the programe successfully but when i am trying to debug/run the programe i am getting the following error.
Unable to Start Debugging. Access is denied. Verify that you are an administartor or member of "Debuggers user group" on the machine you are trying to debug.
Please let me know if any one have solution to overcome this problem.
