I am working on implementing a CListCtrl derived class that functions similar to a control bar. Each icon functions like a button, icon only with no text assigned, and the layout (# of rows/columns) is adjusted as the size of the control changes. All the icons are displayed packed together with a single pixel separating them vertically and horizontally. I have just about everything working, but have run into one problem I cannot find a solution for. When there are multiple rows displayed in the control, even though no text is displayed for any icon, space for the text is being calculated. Clicking on an icon in a row other than the top row results in the icon in the row above being selected - if the click happens in the space where the text of the upper item would appear, if there were any. To put it another way, the space where text would appear for icon in Row A overhangs the icons in Row B. Clicking in this 'overhang' space results in the icon in Row A being selected, while visually it appears that the click happened well within Row B.
Any ideas on how to make the list control not calculate the space for the text label?

My propertysheet has 5 pages, each page has it's own pretranslatemessage. but page pretranslatemessage not work and "tap key" not work(for switch the control).?

I'm trying for automatic documentation in MS powerpoint.I'm using MS wrapper classes associated with "msppt9.h".I've inserted pictures.Now using shape.AddTable,I've inserted table with 14 rows and 4 cols.I can't reduce the size of the table.I can't insert text in the table also.

i'd suggest you attacked the problem from the scripting side of Powerpoint
i.e. write powerpoint scripts inside powerpoint to do what you want first.

hi i used GetAdaptersInfo to get the adapters information. the problem is i cant get the LAN adapter correctly. for wireless the adapter description will be "wireless network" but for LAN i cant get the local area correctly. how to get this information

What do you get? What information do you expect to get?

You may want to look into using WMI to get more information about installed adapters.
The Win32_NetworkAdapter class is a good keyword to search on

Hi,
I made an app with an ok and cancel button in visual studio c++ 2005, but they are blocky (old look). How can I enable the XP look and feel so these buttons look nice? My computer is running XP.

Probably the easiest way is to open the stdafx.h file and near the bottom, you'll find an
#ifdef _UNICODE
...
...
#endif
Remove the #ifdef and #endif lines (leave the others). This will enable the manifest which will give you the new look.
